Score: Stoke 1-6 TFC

Report:

Our 2nd league game saw us on our travels with a trip to Framingham Earl High School to play Stoke Utd.

A few changes had to be made from last week. These saw Finley donn the gloves to replace Matt who was away on shooting duties. With Josh not able to travel we were down to just 11 players. Not as bad as it seemed as Stoke only had 11 too when we arrived.

A very wet night had not made the pitch as bas as we had thought and the game started on time.

A tight start to the game saw both teams have early chances, but we soon took control with Samuel scoring from 10 yards out. One more from Samuel on 22mins and from Jack B on 23 mins got us well into the game.

One more from George on 36 mins got us to half time 4-0 up.

Two more in the 2nd half from Mike on 41m and 46m had in control of the game. Much praise for Stoke who never stopped trying and they were rewarded with a goal 5 mins from time - this as our midfield pushed up to try to get onto the score sheet !

Full time 6-1

Man of the match went to Sam for his great play at left back (think he has found his position). Also thanks to Rob for taking the flag for the game, I missed this on my last report. Sorry about this and thanks to Martin for the flag work and Joel for refereeing. A good win boys, lets keep it going for our next game away to Worstead Wolves.
