2. Chairmans Report
Important for all to remember to keep Dave Canham informed of ALL fixtures changes. This has not been happening and there have been occasions when two teams have turned up to play at the same venue at the same time. This is especially important following the cold snap during December.
Ross Welch has resigned as manager of the Ladies adult side. Thanks to Michaela for stepping in and running this in the meantime.
Thanks to Kevin Bassham for sorting out additional line marker bags for Felthorpe and Hinks. Also thanks to everyone who has kept the marking going well at Hinks. This a big improvement from the last meeting.
Welcome to Mark Hill who has taken over the girls 14's side following the resignating of Ian Sycamore. Ian still manages the Mens Sunday side.
Discussion centered around Hinks and training for 2011/12 season. It is the clubs intention to relocate as many teams as possible at Hinks next season. Felthorpe is likely to be retained also. JB/TS action for next meeting to advise likely structure. In addition it is the clubs intention to relocate all midweek training to a single 3g supplier between October 2011 and March 2012. Likely options at the moment are FDC and Easton College (detailed costs awaited). Under 6's and 7's will train at Hinks next season within the small section to the left of the store. Details to follow on this as per above.
Increase in Hinks costs for 2011/12 onwards were discussed. Our fee will increase to £4500 plus Vat from April 2011. This an increase of approx £1500 from our previous levels. This increase is down to the re-tendering of the Horticultural contract for Hinks by Taverham Parish Council. This contract is likely to increase by approx £4-5,000 per annum with the Parish council picking up the remainder of cost. Main reasons behind the increase are general inflationary increases on services, but mainly a significant improvement in the specification of works over Hinks. Previously work has comprised of cutting only with some bits here and there, however the Parish Council have specified what work they want undertaken in future, this to ensure the £50,000 resurfacing investment legacy continues.
Adults sides all currently heavily subsidised by club with most paying in £3-400 for season which is not sufficient to cover the £5-600 cost for pitch hire, insurace, affiliation fees etc. This unfair to youth sides within the club. As such, these sides will be asked to become self sufficient from 2011/12 season. Each will be asked to pay a set figure to club per season, i.r.o £6-700. On top of this they will be expected to source their own equipment, trophies, insurance etc. As such all adult sides will be free to set their own fees for the season, either on a pay as you play or annual basis.
3. Secretarys Report
Minimal to discuss with a few fines received and forwarded to relevant teams for payment.
Again, thanks to Ray Watling who has agreed to help John and Tim out with the Secretarys role when needed.

Money in £120 Under 9's for additional signing on. Money also received from Kevin Bassham.
2011/12 Treasurer role likely to be vacant, please pass the word for volunteers.
5. Web/Press
Over 6000 hits. Most teams now updating site with match reports which is fantastic. Facebook now with over 100 friends, this a useful forum to communicate events and news throughout the club.
Still looking for newsletter entries, photos, reports etc. We haven't put any entries into the newsletters lately which is disappointing. Thanks to Dave Canham for the Under 9's half season report, this going into the March/April edition.
6. Coaching Dev
Graeme mentioned the FA are looking to relaunch the Respect campaign. Possibility of some new barriers ?
Under 7's and 8's have benefited from the FA Skills coaching team at the FDC, this has been well received by the players. Some additional training for under 9's, 10's and 11's forthcoming over the next 2-3 weeks, again at the FDC by the skills team.
Graeme asked for input re coaching or FA development sessions that would benefit teams/club. Thought to Graeme direct.
Also discussed FA's approach to set up a new girls side within TFC. TS, JB and GD to look into this. Contact Emma Fletcher at NCFC to discuss suitable age groups to target.
Teams:
Under 6's - 10 or 11 children turing up each week. Nobody coming through to manage this age group next season (u7). Jack Stubbs to happy to help out with Paul Stubbs if needed. Letter needed to school to drum up some interest for managing this side next season. Action TS
Under 7's - Steve O'Leary has 15 players signed up. Still on the lookout for a goal keeper. Recent friendlies with Firside and Hillside.
Under 8's Lions - Kev Bassham mentioned the cold snap had hit fixtures/training hard. Managed to source some training at Taverham School which was well received. Unbeaten in non competitive league. Good number of players. FA Skills session was popular with players.
Under 8's Tigers - Richard Bradley mentioned the Tigers and Lions now have to train alternate weeks owing to fixture clashes, this not ideal. Team playing well on the pitch, special mention for Saxon who has netted 36 goals so far this season.
Under 9's - Dave Canham now managing day to day activity within this side with Steve Kirk having to step aside from training/match duties due to work committments. John Wilson has stepped upto the plate to assist Dave with running the side. On the pitch the side are currently one of only 2 sides throughout Norfolk leagues to have a 100% record having played 13 won 13. This has been noted by Eastern Evening News who have run several articles mentioning the side. Currently upto 18 players for some training sessions, as such likely to have two sides next season.
Under 10's - Graeme pointed to inconsistency as his teams downfall at present. Some good results followed by some poor ones. Thanks to Richard Bradley for helping out with some training and photos for matchdays.
Under 11'sa - Not represented at meeting. Query registration with fees only received for 11 players, email sent to JS.
Under 11s'b - Tim pleased with season so far with 7 wins from 10 in the league, 3rd in table. 12/13 players on board with some good progress from a number of players this season. Out of cup.
Under 12's - Paul Stubbs struggling for numbers with only 12 players registered. Some inconsistent performances of late also. Item required for newsletter re additional players. Action TS
Under 13'sa - Not represented at meeting.
Under 13'sb - Top of their league. 13 players .. query registration documents with nothing received by treasurer, email sent to MW.
Under 14'sa - Not represented at meeting. Paul Baston now taken over this side from Phil Weston. On the look out for new players. Action TS
Under 14'sb - JB mentioned side mid table. On the look out for new players. Action TS
Under 14's girls - Mark Hill welcomed to his first meeting. Mark in process of settling the side back into regular training/matches following weather and other issues. Looking for different training venue, options being discussed post meeting. Bright future hoped for this side.
Under 15's - Not represented at meeting.
Ladies - Ross stepped down. Michaela now running side. Some good recent results with the side definately turning the corner. Match reports now being updated.
Ladies 7's - Still early days, considering merger with other local side ?
Adults Sat - Ray advises side only played 3 games since November ! Cup game against Div 1 side, lost 4-2 which was a fantastic effort by the players considering the league standings. Draw at Old Catton, again good result. Disappointing result at Hempnall, losing 2-1.
Adults Sun - Not represented at meeting.
Veterans - JB advised the side got their first win on Sunday. Side seem unable to score goals this season. Knocked out of cup in 4th round.
Any Other Business:
JB reminded all teams of club colours, these being dark Navy shirts, black shorts and navy socks.
Meeting concluded 2145.
