Taverham FC awarded Community Club of the season by County FA

Our club was presented with the prestigious Charter Standard Community Club of the year award at the recent Norfolk County FA annual awards ceremony. This award reflects the hard work put in by everyone connected with the club.

The ceremony was held at the new County FA FDC Centre on 14th August and was attended by all from County FA as well as former Norwich City and England striker Dean Ashton, who presented the awards.

Taverham were represented by Christine Collierwest and Ray Watling, both of which have been stalwarts of the club. This award was especially apt with Christine retiring from her Club Secretary role at the end of last season. Thanks for the many decades of support Christine, we will miss you.
