Score: Taverham Ladies 4-0 Huntingdon Town

Report:

Taverham Ladies recorded their first win of the sesaon at Hinks on Sunday after a comprehensive win against Huntingdon Town Ladies.

The scoring started mid way through the first half when Rachael Howes lobbed the goalkeeper from the half way line and continued minutes later when Vicky Keene volleyed home after the opposition failed to clear a corner.

Taverham continued to attack in the second half and goals followed from Fong Chung after a strong run down the right and from Kelly Ayers following good build up play. Taverham's pre season fitness work showed as attacks continued until the final whistle and the home team were unlucky not to score more.

The result gives the team a huge confidence boost ahead of their away trip to Fakenham on Sunday.
