Taverham Under 7's - Hillside Tournament Report

Taverham under 7's travelled to Hillside on Saturday 26th November for their first ever friendly tournament. Taverham took two teams. The Cosmos who were Owen, Sam, Hayden, Josh, Daniel and George and The Galaxy team who where Noah, Matthew, Jack, William, Thomas and Kyle with Samuel in goal for both teams. The boys played 5 games winning one drawing one and losing three but only by one goal in two cases. Much praise goes for all the boys but the following boys must have a mention - William, Hayden, Thomas, Matthew and Noah who all played well above themselves on the day. Many thanks to all the parents who brought the boys and stayed for the whole tournament on a very cold and windy Saturday morning. I think they now know what they have let themselves in for ! Thanks also to Andy at Hillside for running the tournament and to Kevin Bassham for donating a kit to us which looked very smart on the day. We hope all the boys had a great morning and that this has been a taster for what is to come in the summer tournaments. Many thanks Paul and Jack Stubbs
